Ardfin Golf Club

Ardfin is one of Scotland’s newest high-profile golf courses, situated on the southern coast of the Isle of Jura. Australian architect Bob Harrison began work on the project in 2011 after being approached by estate owner Greg Coffey, and the final course was completed in 2017 after six years of planning and construction.

Sculpted into the rugged shoreline, the 18-hole coastal course is a par 72 measuring 6812 yards. The entire course at Ardfin is wild and natural, designed to harmonize with nature. Possessing narrow greens and fairways but limited bunkering, the testing cliffside terrain provides all the difficulty golfers desire. Many who play this course will label it a true links masterpiece.

Despite only opening in 2017, Ardfin has quickly established itself as one of Scotland’s highest-ranked modern courses and is currently ranked 8th in Scotland by Top 100 Golf Courses. Due to the private and exclusive nature of the estate, the course has little major tournament history.
