Belvoir Park Golf Club

Belvoir Park Golf Club was formed in late 1926 after a group of Belfast golfers secured 163 acres of the historic Deramore Estate. Renowned architect Harry Colt was commissioned to design the course, which officially opened in June 1929. The Colt Design routing has remained fairly unchanged ever since, although 40,000 trees were planted during the following decades to further shape and define the fairways.

Measuring 6600 yards from the tips, the course is a traditional championship parkland layout set through mature woodland only a few miles from Belfast city centre. Tree-lined fairways, strategic Colt bunkering and changes in elevation provide especially the back nine becomes particularly demanding as the course moves across more undulating ground.

It hosted the Irish Open in 1949 and 1953 and has also staged the Irish PGA Championship and Irish Amateur Close. The course is currently ranked 10th in Northern Ireland by Top 100 Courses.
