Druids Glen (European Tour Venue)

Back to Dublin & East Ireland

Druids Glen

Druids Glen was created after the estate was purchased by Irish investors in 1990, with Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock appointed to design a championship parkland course. The course officially opened in 1995 and quickly established itself as a professional venue. Significant upgrades was later completed before its reopening in 2023, including new greens, bunkers, drainage and irrigation while retaining much of the original routing.

Measuring over 7200 yards, this stunning parkland course is set in one of the most scenic areas in Ireland. With immaculate greens, water hazards, and breathtaking floral displays, the Druids Glen Course is also known for its scenic par 3s and colourful surroundings. However large greens, strategic bunkering and numerous elevation changes create an enjoyable challenge.

The course hosted the Irish Open for four consecutive years from 1996 to 1999 and the venue was voted European Golf Resort of the Year in 2005. It is currently ranked 29th in Ireland by top 100 Courses.
