Gullane Golf Club No. 2 Course

As demand for golf at Gullane increased, the club commissioned two-time Open Champion Willie Park Junior to create a second eighteen-hole course. Gullane No.2 officially opened in 1898, providing an alternative to the increasingly popular No.1 Course.

Measuring 6,396 from the back tees, No.2 provides a varied traditional links experience with firm fairways, natural slopes, deep bunkers and quick greens. Like No.1 its strong winds and strategically positioned hazards across the fairways and greens mean accurate positioning remains extremely important throughout the links course.

Gullane No.2 is currently ranked 49th in Scotland by Top 100 Golf Courses. The course has hosted numerous important amateur competitions and has also been used for Open Championship Final Qualifying.
