Kingsbarns Golf Links

Kingsbarns Golf Club has a very unique history dating back to 1793, with the Kingsbarns Golfing Society officially established in 1815 with a 9 hole course. The course was then lost farming in 1850 where it later moved and returned in 1922. Unfortunately the course was then closed due to the Second World War and remained unused until Kingsbarns Golf Links was designed on the farmland by Kyle Phillips and opened in 2000.

Factors like the long rough, high winds, tight greens, and undulating fairways make Kingsbarns Golf Course a thrilling challenge you should experience if in the area. With numerous holes playing right beside the sea, changing coastal winds and difficult approaches make the course even more demanding.

Despite only opening in 2000, Kingsbarns has quickly established itself amongst the best in Scotland and is currently ranked 7th in the country by Top 100 Golf Courses. It has co-hosted the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship every year since 2001 alongside Carnoustie and St Andrews
