Littlestone Golf Club

Founded in 1888 and located on the edge of the Romney Marshes, with the English Channel as it's backdrop. The course has the same designer as Royal St.Georges in Sandwich in William Laidlaw Purves, and retains much of the charm of it's original design.

Littlestone is a true hidden gem, often overlooked in favour of Royal St.George's or Royal Cinque Ports, but loved by those who play it. It is a relatively flat links course with numerous bunkers, fast fairways and greens. The 16th hole at Littlestone was the inspiration behind the legendary 4th hole, the 'Channel', at The Lido at Sand Valley in the US.

The course has been a Final Open Qualifying venue for the British Open, and regularly ranked in the top 60 courses in England.
