St Andrews Old Course (Open Championship Venue)

Golf has been played at St Andrews for more than 500 years, with the Old Courses naturally developing into the world famous links course that it is today. Old Tom Morris and Allen Robertson were majorly influential in shaping the layout, including the formation of the 1st green that's still played today back in 1870.

The par 72 course measures 7445 yards from the Championship tees but offers multiple other tee boxes to suit all golfers. The famous links feature enormous double greens, deep pot bunkers, firm undulating fairways and a strong sea breeze which is a constant factor throughout the round.

The Old course has consistently ranked 1st in Scotland and Top 100 courses currently places it 8th Worldwide. It has held the Open Championship 30 times with famous champions including Bobby Jones, Jack Nicklaus, Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods.
