St George's Hill Golf Club

St George's Hill continues to be a true golfing treasure. Each of its three nine-hole loops is distinctive and unforgettable, featuring beautiful heather and impressive Scots pines. The course officially opened in 1913 and is regarded as one of Harry Colt’s most outstanding creations. During the 1st World War the club house was converted into a military hospital treating over 3000 soldiers.

The Red nine then goes on to follow the estate's natural landscape containing some tough challenges on the way including punishing rough and strategically placed bunkers. The Blue nine generally presents a more challenging experience, especially from the 13th hole onward, with a demanding par 3 exceeding 200 yards, a lengthy par 5, and several par 4s that stretch over 400 yards. The Green nine offers a different challenge compared to the red and blue course, it is slightly shorter however the fairways are not as wide meaning accurate and precise tee shots are required.

Regularly ranked amongst the best heathland courses in England, St George's Hill was ranked 7th in England and 54th in the world by Golf Digest in 2026. The club has a strong history of amateur golf and hosts the prestigious Men's Silver Trophy alongside its Ladies Open and international St George's Cup.
