The Berkshire Golf Club- Red Course

Before both the Red and Blue course was designed in 1928 across the beautiful 372 acres of heatherland, the land was used for hunting grounds by Queen Anne during the 17th and 18th Centry. The Red Course has a unique layout of six par 3s, six par 4s, and six par 5s.

The Red Course sits on higher ground than the Blue, winding through more undulating terrain with dramatic elevation changes between tees and greens. Measuring 6,452 yards from the white tees, the Red Course presents a formidable challenge for golfers, demanding precision and skill on every hole due to its tight fairways.

The Red regularly features among the best courses in England, with Golf Digest ranking the Red Course 25th. The club has strong history with amateur golf and has hosted the English Amateur Championship alongside the Berkshire Trophy with Nick Faldo winning the competition in 1975
