The K Club (Ryder Cup Venue)

The Palmer North Course at The K Club was designed by legendary American golfer Arnold Palmer and developed as part of the luxury Kildare estate during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The course was created as a championship parkland layout following the River Liffey and has received considerable investment and upgrades in more recent years especially to host the Ryder Cup.

Measuring a substantial 7,300 yards, the Par 72 The course provides a very different experience from Ireland's famous coastal links as its surrounded by mature woodland. The water hazards, challenging bunkers, and undulating greens create a thrilling round of golf that is renowned as one of the best in Ireland.

The Palmer North is currently ranked 14th in Ireland by Irish Golfer and has one of the strongest tournament histories of any inland Irish course. It hosted the 2006 Ryder Cup, thirteen European Opens, the Irish Open in 2016, 2023 and 2025, and is scheduled to host the event again in 2027.
