Wallasey Golf Club

Wallasey Golf Club is a true links course that welcomes visitors to enjoy the stunning coastal views that accompany a fantastic round of golf. The course is rich in history, with Tom Morris of St Andrews laying out the course in 1893. The Wallasey Golf Club is also known as the Home of Stableford, as the Stableford scoring system was first introduced there with the first official competition using the format taking place in 1932.

The course measures 6600 yards from the back tees, which may seem relatively short, but when factoring in the constant presence of wind, it will test even low-handicap players. It is known as an exemplary seaside links course being set among wild natural sand dunes and undulating fairways.

While consistently ranking in the top 75 courses in the country the Wallasey has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments including the World Senior Professional Championship and co-hosting the English Amateur Championship in 2025.
